David Simek has been a part of the swimming pool and hot tub industry for over 24 years having worked in retail, service, build and manufacturing environments.

In addition to this, David is involved with new technology, which includes being in charge of IT for a large national manufacturing corporation, website and Internet marketing design and strategy for companies both inside and outside of the swimming pool and hot tub industry, Canadian distributor for a number of technologies including HTBasic (an advanced scientific / programing language), creator of poolz.com (an Internet forum designed exclus ively for Canadian swimming pool and hot tub industry professionals).

In his spare time David is an avid glider and power pilot spending time soaring through the clouds chasing thermals or experimenting with new photography techniques when not with his family.

His education includes a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University with a specialization in Marketing. Always looking to learn David has taken many other courses including photography and website design and is currently on the Toronto Chapter Board of Directors for the Pool and Hot Tub Council Of Canada.
